Experience
IT Support and Network Security Consultancy at Harmony Medical, Jan 2010 - Present.
I ensure that the company's data is protected and their network is secure. I am responsible for the maintenance and development of the IT infrastructure but I also act in a general technical support capacity . In addition to the above I also look after the in-house windows and linux servers, desktops and laptops. I keep them all secure, updated, free from infections and performing well.
Firmware Engineer at Harmony Medical, August 2008 - Present.
I am the lead programmer for the Classic 4 EAP/TENS treatment device. My role entails furthering the development of the device by microcontroller programming in C and PIC programming in assembly in order to add new features to our devices.
Web / IT Consultant at Finches Ski and Snowboard, September 2009 - Present.
My principle role is to expand and develop the company's presence on the internet. In addition to this I manage the use and adoption of new IT resources within the business. I also provide IT support for the company's mac computers.
Web / IT Administrator at University of Durham School of Law, April 2009 - November 2009.
I acted in a general technical support capacity but I was also tasked with redveloping the department's many websites in order to make important information easier to find and increase the functionality of the site. We launched an electronic newsletter and several news and events RSS feeds. In addition to the above, I was also responsible for ensuring that content was always up to date and accurate.
